My name is Samantha Kelly. I am a photographer and photo editor. Travel photography and exploring new scenes has always interested me. Candid photography looks better to me than posed. My family constantly goes to Oregon to visit the rest of our family and every time I bring my camera and I take more pictures of the same valley and the same mountains, but every time the pictures come out looking differently. That’s the beauty of traveling no matter how many times you go somewhere something will be different the next time you go. My goal is to have every project tell a story.
Whether it’s engagement, wedding, graduation, holiday, animal, nature, product; I want the viewer to feel something and be able to relate it to their own life in some way. Whether that is remembering something from their past or looking forward to something in the future. That is my ultimate goal in the end. I don’t take photos because it pays well. I take photos because I am passionate about them. To me photography is a passion and I love to capture the passion of scenes and moments in time. I began my journey in the art world with drawing and painting, I was always too much of a perfectionist to enjoy my own creations. One day I picked up a camera and I knew that was what I wanted to do all my life.
